In this role you will be joining AddSecure Smart Transport, one of the business units within the AddSecure Group and a leading European supplier of FMS systems (Transport Management and Fleet Management). The core business is to provide systems and solutions to streamline transport with heavy and light commercial vehicles. Smart Transport markets and sells its products through its own sales team and through partners in Europe.

THE POSITION

At AddSecure Smart Transport, you will be working with exciting solutions for the transport and logistics industry where user experience is key for the efficient use of tools and data. Your will lead this work and support all development teams on this journey. 

AddSecure Smart Transport a growing organization of currently more than 500 team members which is characterized by curiosity, forward thinking, continuous improvement and care for our colleagues. In the role as UX/UI Designer for the Smart Transport solutions you will drive the journey towards an intuitive and aligned user experience across our different services. 

You will be responsible for:

•   Designing and delivering user persona mapping, user stories and user journeys

•  Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that support an intuitive user experience

•  Facilitating the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences of our products

•  Designing graphic user interface elements

•  Effectively communicate your interaction ideas

•  Helping optimize existing user interface designs

•  Identifying design problems and propose solutions.

•  Taking a user-centric design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

•  Taking risks and champion new ideas.

•  Keeping yourself updated with the latest changes in industry standards. 

•  You will report to VP Product and Technology.

YOUR BACKGROUND

You have at least 3 years experience in UX and UI design and at least 5 years experience in software development industry. You have worked with both web and app based applications. It is a merit if you have hand-on experience working as a front-end developer.

You have:

•  A strong portfolio of UI design projects which can be presented during interviews

•  Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards and user flows

•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•  Experience working in agile development processes

•  Experience in such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, Adobe, UXPin or similar

•  Basic understanding of front-end languages such as Angular, Vue or HTML5

•  Ability to present and argue for different design options
