ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join a small, highly collaborative team where you will work close to both product and users. The role is primarily backend-focused, working with system logic, digital twin model and APIs, but with the opportunity to contribute across the stack when needed.

A central part of the role is translating complex ideas into working solutions - bridging modelling, product needs and technical implementation.

You will, among other things:

•    Develop and evolve backend functionality (Scala)

•    Work with APIs, data structures and system logic (GraphQL, Neo4j)

•    Contribute to architectural discussions and challenge solutions

•    Collaborate closely with the team and founder on how the system should be built

•    Occasionally contribute to the frontend (TypeScript/React)

You won’t just build features – you will help shape how the system works.

ABOUT YOU

You are a senior developer with a strong backend foundation and an interest in building systems where logic and data are central.

You are comfortable working with modern backend technologies (for example Java, Scala or similar) and have experience working with APIs and system design. You enjoy solving complex problems and like to contribute to and reason around how things should be built - not just implementing predefined solutions.

You don’t need to know Scala or graph databases beforehand, but you should be curious and able to learn. It would be nice if you have a basic understanding of frontend (e.g. TypeScript/React) and are comfortable contributing when needed.
