THE POSITION

As an Electronics Design Engineer in our Electronics team, you will be responsible for the design of control systems and power drive systems used for Xylem’s wastewater pumping and wastewater treatment mixing. You will be joining a team of driven engineers with a passion for electronic hardware design.

Our products reside in a harsh environment with vibrations, water, and high/low temperatures. Working with these products can be a motivating challenge to create and innovate.

This role is placed at our product development site in Sundbyberg where we also have our well-equipped R&D Laboratory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main area of responsibility will be around the electrical part of the inverters, focusing on circuit design. You will also continuously follow up on the development by executing various tests as well as defining requirements.

You will also make design releases including;

- Schematics

- Bill Of Material

- Component configuration

- PCB design

- Design verification

YOUR SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

We are looking for someone that has previous experience in developing control systems and power drive systems. We expect you to have a good understanding of EMC requirements, schematic and PCB layout design tools. You should also have some previous experience with testing high-voltage systems.

👍 A university education in Electronics engineering or similar

👍 Understanding of the theory and application of AC/DC/AC converters, SMPS, IGBT drivers, and magnetics and capacitors in power electronics systems

👍 Fluent English both written and spoken
