THE POSITION

We are looking for a Web Solution Architect with a great passion for tech! Someone who appreciate taking a leading role and thriving to motive others!

As a Web Solutions Architect, you have deep knowledge of both designing and developing modern web applications and services as well as a deep understanding of Optimizely as a content management platform.  You will have the opportunity contribute to Xylems web strategy through architect solutions to business needs as well as getting to keep your technical skills sharp by developing solutions as a part of the team.

In this role, you will have great opportunities to contribute to your own ideas and it is important that you want to be involved in influencing and understanding the end user of the products in order to create solutions with high usability and good accessibility. In the role, you will take a leading role and be involved in building long-term and innovative solutions.

You will play an important role as you will act as the technical expert for web technologies as well being a central contact for the business and IT. You will work closely with the technical team that consists of approx. 10 developers and testers and together find new ways to strengthen the external web landscape and the quality of the products we produce.

YOUR SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

- Proficiency in designing clean and modern solutions to complex business needs

- Several years of experience of full-stack web development on the Microsoft stack developing solutions with .NET (Framework/Core), JavaScript and CSS to create solutions

- Expert knowledge of Optimizely (formerly EpiServer) as a developer and superuser

- Experience leading a technical team to deliver solutions

- A drive to provide clean solutions, map out and reduce technical debt and work directly with the business to understand their issues and provide solutions for that

- Fluent in English both verbal and written

- Willingness to communicate and collaborate directly with business users of all levels to gather requirements and communicate architectural plans and decisions

- Genuine interest in new technology and drive to stay apprised of new technologies and services in the web space
