Our in-house developed radio system is the basis for our broadband network for ships in Europe, and we are proud to count most major passenger shipping companies among our customers. Our intelligent cloud-based software platform scales to over 10,000 vessels and enables fast internet for users and automatic operation and control for our customers. Besides vessels, you can find our solutions on for example windfarms, oilrigs and fish farms.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As DevOps Engineer at Nowhere Solutions you will enter a working place where the actual physical products are assembled in the room next to where you and your team create awesome software solutions. You will be a part of an entrepreneurial environment where ideas flows freely and where you will have a strong vote. 

We are looking for someone who wants to take Nowhere Network's server infrastructure to the next level. You will prepare and adapt Nowhere Network's current AWS infrastructure for its future growth. Nowhere Networks plans to "rebuild" its server infrastructure to be "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) based. We see the possibility that you yourself will get to decide which tools you want to work with. Examples of these can be Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Vagrant, etc.

In addition to managing our server infrastructure, we also want to improve and develop our CI/CD pipelines to make the development process smoother. You will also be responsible for CI/CD to be able to automatically install and update our physical devices on board boats and on land sites.
